Bungee Jumping Stag Do in Sofia
Bungee Jumping
Plenty of lads say they'd happily do a bungee jump, right up until they're stood on the edge looking down. That's when you find out who has the nerve to launch himself off a bridge on a bungee cord and who's been bluffing about his extreme sports past while quietly dreading heights. Expect at least one mate to develop a sudden and very convincing hamstring injury.

Why bungee jumping works on a stag do
Bungee is the purest test of nerve there is. There's no halfway house: you either jump or you don't, which makes it brilliant for showing someone's true character under a kind of pressure most people never put themselves through.
Operators near Sofia meet safety standards certified at international level, using kit and procedures designed to strip out the real danger while leaving every bit of the fear intact. It's safe, and it's still properly terrifying.
The mountain spots make the build-up dramatic and give you incredible backdrops for photos and video of your big moment. The scenery only adds to the madness of throwing yourself off something on purpose.
For a stag group, the bond comes from going through something extreme together. Jump, and you're in a small club of blokes who've chucked themselves off a bridge by choice. Bottle it, and you keep the rest entertained with ever more creative excuses.
Because each jump is a personal challenge, every lad faces his own fear alone, while the group offers support, encouragement or a bit of friendly abuse, depending on how he handles it.

Bungee Jumping FAQs
Everything the group chat keeps asking, answered.
1. Is bungee jumping safe?
Very, as long as the operators are certified and the kit is right. The fear in your head is far bigger than the physical risk, as the safety standards remove the genuine danger and leave the fright.
2. What if someone can't bring himself to jump?
It happens all the time and the operators are used to it. Nobody will pressure him, and bottling it is nothing to be embarrassed about. Watching the others go is decent entertainment anyway.
3. Is bungee jumping scarier than other extreme sports?
For most people, yes, mentally at least. Falling on purpose goes against every survival instinct you've got. It's over quickly, but it's genuinely terrifying.
4. Are there weight or health limits for bungee jumping?
There are basic health checks and weight limits set by the safety equipment. You don't need any special fitness, though certain health conditions, or medication you're on, can rule you out.
5. How long does a bungee jump take?
The free-fall and bouncing last only seconds, but from getting kitted up to standing on the platform and coming back down to earth, allow 15–30 minutes for each person.
6. Can two people bungee jump together?
Jumps are mostly solo for safety, though a few operators do tandem jumps for couples. Having the group there watching and cheering makes each person's jump better.
7. What does it feel like after a bungee jump?
A massive adrenaline surge, a real feeling of achievement and, quite often, an urge to go straight back up and do it again. Most people come away on a proper high.
8. Can you choose different bungee jump heights?
Yes, anything from fairly scary to utterly terrifying. The operators can suggest the right challenge based on how brave and experienced your group is.
9. What happens if the weather makes bungee jumping unsafe?
Operators call off jumps when wind, rain or poor visibility make it unsafe. Safety always comes before sticking to the schedule.
