Airsoft Stag Do in Sofia

Airsoft

Grab a rifle, pick a side and settle the pecking order with tactical airsoft on a huge field, part outdoor and part indoor. Once the shooting starts, the lads who talked a big game in the group chat go very quiet, and whoever is still standing gets to gloat for the rest of the weekend.

Build your stag do

  • Realistic battle terrain for a proper firefight
  • Full protective gear for everyone
  • Your weapon of choice, with unlimited ammo
  • Up to 3 hours of play, or less if you'd rather

Why book with us

  • Planned by people who live in Sofia
  • One price, agreed up front
  • One planner looking after your group
  • Change the plan as you go
  • Every booking made by us, direct
  • You turn up, we handle the rest

What you'll do

  • Kit up - Pull on the tactical kit and do your best not to look like you're off to a fancy dress party. A few of you might pull it off.
  • Safety talk - The instructor explains how to avoid shooting yourself or your own side. One of your lot needs to hear it twice.
  • Elimination rounds - Teams go at it until one side is left. Winners gloat, losers get the drinks in.
  • Capture the flag - Plan the advance and cover each other like a real squad, not a stag party with a few pints round the middle.
  • Victory photos - Snap who looked like special forces and who was clearly thinking about the pub.

What you'll need to bring

  • Old clothes you're happy to get muddy
  • Long trousers and sleeves if you have them, so hits sting less
  • Solid trainers or boots that grip
  • Water, because all that crawling dries you out
  • Photo ID, such as your passport or ID card

Why airsoft works on a stag do

Airsoft has become a stag weekend staple for a simple reason: it gets everyone fired up and competitive, and nobody needs to be any good at it. BBs leave nothing on your clothes, so you come off the field presentable enough for lunch instead of looking like someone tipped a tin of Dulux over you.

The field takes whole groups at once, and the instructors run stag parties all the time. They keep the safety chat brief and get you shooting quickly, and they're used to a group where one lad lives in the gym and another is still recovering from last night.

A game takes up to 40 players, so however many of you turn up, you're part of a proper battle rather than a knockabout between mates. With outdoor and indoor terrain and several scenarios on the go, everyone stays busy instead of half the lads loitering at the edge of the field.

The real win is the teamwork. Pulling off a flanking move together bonds a group faster than anything, and then comes the fun of ripping into whoever got knocked out first. Everyone's character comes through while it all stays light-hearted, and the pictures give you ammunition for winding each other up for years.

Airsoft FAQs

Everything the group chat keeps asking, answered.

1. Does getting shot with an airsoft gun hurt?

It's a quick, sharp sting, like a flick on the back of the hand, and it's gone in seconds. Then all you're thinking about is payback. The protective gear covers the parts that matter.

2. Do we need airsoft experience?

None. The briefing covers the lot, and the instructors run a tight ship. The best entertainment is usually watching the self-appointed tactical genius become the first man out.

3. What happens with airsoft if it rains?

Drizzle just makes it feel more like the real thing. If it's properly chucking it down, the game moves indoors. Whichever way it goes, expect mud.

4. Can we all target the groom?

Yes. Go for it.

5. How long does an airsoft session last?

Up to 3 hours of play, or less if the group would rather, plus the time it takes to get kitted up. That leaves you nicely thirsty for Sofia's bars.

6. What group size do you need for airsoft?

Any number, with no real upper limit. A game takes up to 40 players, so a smaller group plays alongside others. For a private game with the field to yourselves, you need at least 14.

7. Can we do something else the same day?

Yes, but leave room to get washed and changed. A morning game slots in nicely ahead of lunch and an afternoon activity.

8. What if one of the lads can't play?

He can stand on the sidelines snapping the others as they get hit. There's usually a viewing area for anyone sitting it out, and players can drop in and out of the games whenever they fancy.

9. Can we take any of the airsoft kit home?

Only the memories and maybe a bruise or two. The kit stays at the arena, though the photos will show how convincing you all looked in it.
